Recently i attended a meeting of Pertubuhan Peneroka.It has been officiated by the state representative of tenang(DUN) Dato' Sulaiman Hj.Taha.One of representative that come also on that day is Deputy Officer of FELDA Settlement .On his opening speech he make remarks about what FELDA had been doing all this time to it's community.
Firstly about education.Starting from secondary school to high school especially exam group such as UPSR,PMR and SPM.FELDA had introduced what being called as STF(FELDA tuition scheme).The main objectives is to help out the younger generation of FELDA to exceeds in their study.Before this it was open to all who wanted to take part,but recently it has been modifed and only qualified students will get this scheme.I know it seem like unfair.But the positive aspect is the one who not being chosen will eventually strike in their studies after that.Also,many classes before this had not receive welcoming number of participants.So it was a waste of money to invest on it.So it more proper to give it only to the one who neede the most.Also FELDA will given contribution to students who furthering their studies in Diploma and Degree.Both will be given RM 500 and RM1000 each respectively.Also to those are keen on skill study,FELDA had a lot of training centre to be offered to them with a scholarship.So there's no way for a younger generation of get contributed on un health activity.
